After Midnight Raccoons

Update, Jan. 17, 2022Perk’s heart is 100% normal! … No sign of murmur … Will begin Prednisolone (steroid) … 0.5 mL once daily, 7 days … 0.25 mL once daily, 7 days … then 0.25 mL every other day … Rescheduled Dec. 29 appointment, several days of snow, ice (not putting on studded tires this winter since I don’t drive to work … retired!) … Then rescheduled Jan. 11 appnt., Perk was hiding!Blue Pearl Pet Hospital, NE 42nd and Tillamook (good luck street!), Portland … (cardiologist travels to partner locations, but no longer Columbia River Veterinary Specialists, ER, Vancouver)

Update, Jan. 22, 2022Started steroid (liquid), after she ate, Thursday, evening, Jan. 20 … in mail from Northwest Compounders, Portland … Noticed a positive change in first 12 hours … looks better, seems to feel better!

A red-topped plastic container was placed on the box seat of his driving carriage. He used it to store the sugar lumps he gave to his Fell ponies, Balmoral Nevis and Notlaw Storm, both present along with the carriage in the castle quadrangle. Next to this lay his driving cap, whip, blanket and brown gloves.
